Information about Richard Marsh
Following graduation as a Landscape Architect in the early eighties, Richard worked for major architectural practices in London and Stuttgart, during which he built up a fine reputation for his perspective watercolours and pencil sketches alongside his other design work. In subsequent years, with so many private commissions for his artwork, he was able to follow his life's passion and work full-time as a freelance artist and illustrator. He has since achieved wide recognition for his fine illustrations commissioned by architects, building developers, publishers, card companies and advertising agencies both at home and abroad. Richard lives and works in Brighton, producing watercolour paintings focusing on the beauty of Sussex towns, villages and landscapes, which sell as originals and limited edition prints in many galleries.
