This linocut is comprised of four separate blocks printed in yellow, red, light cobalt blue, and dark blue, respectively.

A scene familiar to many urban dwellers, the disengaged passengers on this crowded subway train prefer to read their newspapers rather than interact with those seated next to them. Alienation, a by-product of modern life, is a theme often present in Power's images of the London Underground.
